As the Owner of il Destino Salon & Spa, Laura Mah often attributed her success and growth to her professional team and family.  We would like to honor her now for the remarkable woman that she was.  

Laura aimed to create a warm, welcoming environment for her guests and staff alike.  Laura raised the bar of industry standards and succeeded in creating a unique and often praised, salon & spa experience.  Whether she was present or not Laura's welcoming spirit and contagious positive attitude were always felt by everyone upon walking through the door.  Every guest to pass through her business knew they were special, appreciated and cared for much like a guest in her own home.

Laura valued the importance of integrity and a high level of professionalism and always conducted herself with elegance and grace.  She treated everyone equally and never expected anything of her staff that she would not have given of herself.  This was often proven by her willingness to roll up her sleeves whenever necessary. 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved friend, mentor and leader after a hard fought battle against cancer.  She inspired many women in business today and will always be remembered for the strong, influential woman she was.  We love you Laura and will keep your spirit alive at il Destino.  Your legacy will live on through the countless hearts and lives you have touched.
