Mahatma Gandhi once said, "A customer is the most important visitor on our premises, he is not dependent on us.  We are dependent on him.  He is not an interruption in our work.  He is the purpose of it.  He is not an outsider in our business.  He is part of it.  We are not doing him a favour by serving him.  He is doing us a favour by giving us an opportunity to do so."

As we now celebrate our 5th year and embrace our successes, it is the time to reflect on the past and learn.  This has been a challenging time for all businesses.  As I write this message to our unbelievably supportive Guests and talented and caring Staff, I cherish all of the awards we have won, recognitions and nominations we have received; our tremendous involvement within the Tri-Cities community; but the one thing that has given me the most joy is the relationships that I have formed with you.

It has been my honour to welcome you at il Destino and my pleasure to get to know you and your families.  On behalf of the management and staff of il Destino, I thank you for allowing us to be part of your lives and allowing us to serve you.
